Sanctuary Mission & Vision

Temple of Roots fosters sanctuaries dedicated to teaching the sacred mysteries for the purpose of acquiring wisdom, healing, and self-mastery. Through spiritual technologies, ancestral knowledge, and paleoscience, we guide individuals on their journey toward divine alignment and self-discovery.

Rooted in Natural Law and the interconnectedness of all life, we are committed to:

  • Facilitating Healing and Renewal — Providing sacred tools and spaces for transformation.
  • Preserving Ancestral Wisdom — Honoring and applying timeless teachings from traditions including IFA (Ile Ase Ajagunmale), Kabbalah, Gnosticism, Taoism, and Traditional Native American practices.
  • Regenerating Community and Earth — Restoring harmony through conscious living and service.

  • Always Do Your Best — Simple effort avoids self-judgment.
  • Mimic Nature — Follow the patterns of the Earth.

Sanctuaries & Earthship Biotecture

Our estates, such as Earthship Atitlán, are living spaces made from tires, bottles, and cans. Designed by world-famous architect Michael Reynolds, these modular homes are built into mountainsides to remain naturally cool while offering epic views.

Sanctuary Guidelines

  • Sacred Time — Observed from 9 PM–8 AM for rest and integration.
  • Zero Waste Living — Guests are responsible for sorting waste into compost, recycling, and cardboard. Use "bottle bricks" (stuffing plastic into bottles) to minimize landfill impact.
  • Water Stewardship — We utilize ozonated, filtered spring water. Please use water mindfully as service can occasionally be interrupted in our remote locations.
  • Liability — Guests stay at our sanctuaries at their own risk and assume liability for any injuries or interactions with local flora and fauna.

Availability: The Texas Earthship sanctuary (Igbadu, Lindale) is rented out for the year and unavailable for guest bookings until June 2027.

Our for-profit consortium, Zero Waste Advocacy (ZWA), utilizes distributed ledger technology to tokenize waste diversion.

  • Incentivization — We reward the diversion of materials (reusing, upcycling, composting) rather than burning or burying them.
  • Efficiency — We apply IoT sensors to optimize collection frequency, often saving businesses 10–40% on waste expenses.

  • Focus Areas — Rainwater harvesting (Rotoplas systems), soil building (vermiculture), and the cultivation of rare fruit trees and berries.
  • Sacred Contribution — Design fees may be fulfilled via a $5,000 tax-deductible donation to the Temple of Roots 508(c)(1)(a) ministry.
